This explains what we collect when you use SketchupConverter.com, and why. In short: we keep as little as we can and delete your files quickly.

What we collect

• Your email address, to create your account and sign you in.
• The files you upload and the converted versions, to run your conversions.
• Conversion history: file names, sizes, versions and dates, so you can see and re-download your files.
• Purchase records: what you bought and when. Card details go straight to Stripe; we never see them.
• Basic usage data, such as pages visited, without cookies that track you across sites.

How long we keep it

• Uploaded files: deleted as soon as the conversion finishes.
• Converted files: deleted after 7 days.
• Uploads that never get converted: deleted within 1 day.
• Account and purchase records: kept while your account exists, and as long as tax law requires.

Who processes your data

We use a small number of providers to run the service:

• Vercel: hosting and private file storage
• Convex: database for accounts, conversions and purchases
• Clerk: sign-in
• Stripe: payments

They only process data to provide their service to us. Some are in the United States; they use standard contractual safeguards for international transfers. We don't sell your data or use your files for anything other than your conversions.

Cookies

We only use the cookies needed to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising cookies.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of your data, to correct it or to delete your account and everything linked to it. Email support@sketchupconverter.com. If you're in the UK or EU you can also complain to your data protection authority.
